2002 explorer limited
I am working on the radio upgrades in my 2002 Explorer

The goal is to have aftermarket sound without losing any space so i want to utilize the existing subwooffer or subwoofer space.

I dont have to stay with pioneer but like running similar brands and have always had good luck with pioneer.

Head Unit:

Came with everything I need to get the stock sub hooked up.

Maybe this will suffice? How is the stock sub?

Sub Upgrade:

Will this bolt into the stock box? How much volume does the stock box have?

Amp:
http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-GMA36...d=1402866169&sr=8-1&keywords=Pioneer+GM-A3602

I am hoping I can replace the stock amp with this amp to power the sub and leave everything mounted in the stock location.

Speakers:

2 pairs of these would be nice. Driven by the head unit with a HP filter.

Any thoughts before I get this all ordered?

Thanks!

It's a nice set up and it should work.

That headunit is alright, has tons of features if you know how to use them.
The speakers are decent quality, they sound clear.
The subwoofer should work in the stock box.
That's the same amp I use to drive an 8 inch kicker and I can't complain.

I'm not sure about a 2002. I know it's a relatively small amp, but I keep it under my back seat.
