2002 Explorer 4wd Question.....

Is there a way to eliminate the 4wd Auto and make it a part time 4wd? The clutches in my transfer case is engaging at low speeds causing binding when turning at low speeds in my '02 Explorer.

I just replace the 4x4EC behind the glove box.

Any help would be great.

I'm not familiar with third gens but if its anything like the second gens you can do the brown wire mod.
