Hey guys,
I'm trying to get to my subwoofer and I was reading up on here how. I know what I have to do, but I cant no matter how hard I try, get the lower seatbelt bolt off (torx 50), like it is impossible, I literally snapped a torx 50 ratchet bit in half trying.

Any recommendations on what to do next?

Thanks,
Nick

Some Heat from a propane torch and pb blaster should get it done

Yeah, it's probably rusted in there.
You need to get a good penetrating oil in there and some heat.
Consider it a good thing that the seat belt bolts are very tight!

So the seat is like RIGHT beside it...so I should remove the whole bench and get a blow torch in there?

Be very careful with that torch, lol.
Have you tried an impact gun?

No I haven't, I'm currently recovering from a knee surgery (acl reconstructed last week) so I don't have the power to take the seats out and I don't see how I could fit an impact gun in there without doing so. I will try the oil trick, a friend recommended giving the bolt a tap with a hammer so maybe ill try that too.

Try borrowing an impact from someone. Or ask for help, you must know someone who works on cars.
