2002 Explorer - Possible to pull up panel around driver's door PW switch?

Hey All,


Is it possible on a 2002 Explorer XLS to simply pull up the panel around the power window switch to get to the connections beneath?

I ordered a new switch a few days ago and it should be in by Monday. I lightly pried on this panel a few times and it seems it may just snap in with tabs, but wanted to make sure I'm not missing a screw or something.

NO, you need to pull the panel 4"x4" around the handle first, there is a locking tab on it that holds the window switch.

um, you cant pull the door panel off first because there is a bolt behind that piece. You need to carefuly pry around the back of that peice, i can take mine off and take some pics of it so you can see what your working with.
