2002 explorer sport trac

My rear turn signals are messed up! When i turn my left signal on the back one doesnt work at all, and when i turn my right one on both my left and right rear blinkers turn into flashers... I have changed the mf switch and adjusted the steering wheel tilt and neither has work!! What could it be?

Do you have a trailer plug. Have been seeing these getting debris ice and snow in them causing all sorts of issues if not sound like you have a short to power on the rear harness
