Im on my third transmission with 165000 miles:( I now have a leak from the overdrive band adjusting screw. Is this a big deal? It is a few drips an hour. I know that eventually it will need to be refilled, but am I gonna need any additional work. tranny is shifting fine and no indications something is wrong except the leak after a 100 mile drive last night.

I doubt it's a big deal...I don't think the adjuster assembly is under any hydraulic pressure so the leak shouldn't affect shifting.

What I would look into is whether the backing nut for the adjuster is tight and if it is not than the next thought is if the band adjuster may need to be readjusted because the backing nut wasn't tight. (FYI the backing nut has a seal built into it and that's what seals the whole adjusting nut assembly). If the band adjustment has backed off than that can lead to some slippage of the band which will reduce the life of that component and shorten the life span of other components as well.
