2002 explorer will not start

I have a problem that has me perplexed.My wifes explorer will turn over but not start and no mil light code.Happens cold or after sitting for awhile and never know when its going to happen.Does ford have crank and cam sensors that may be cause to keep ignition or fuel from working?Have swapped relays one time and got it started.So any help would be appreciated.

how old is your battery? better have it checked at advance auto/orielly or autozone before it will completely go dead.

Thanks I checked terminals and cleaned them this morning and Explorer started going to wait awhile and try again could not find a date on battery so could not say when Dealer replaced it.Voltmeter shows battery ok but under load can not say so will see what happens later today.
