2002 Explorers needed! Near Riverside, CA

K&N is presently in search of 2002 Ford Explorers (V6 and V8) in order to help them
develop their air intake kit or what they call a Fuel Injection Performance Kit
(FIPK) for these vehicles. Anyone helping them (loaning them their vehicle for
the R&D) will be given an FIPK free of charge once the kit goes into
production. Those willing to help should be close to the Riverside, CA
area. These vehicles are proving to be difficult to locate, so they would
definitely appreciate your assistance.

I talked with Dino at K&N a couple weeks ago. They don't yet have an 02 test mule. Mine is an 02, but doesn't have their required minimum of 6000 miles on it yet. (Although we have put 5300 miles on it in a 6 1/2 week period!) I will have 6 g's on it by the end of August, so I'll keep ya posted!

No word as of yet....I was told they needed an Explorer with at least 6000 miles...I now have 7800 and have left several voicemails for Dino, but no answer back as of yet

Did they have anything for a 99 xlt 4 dr 5.0

I'm in the next county down....prolly less than 2 hr trip for me too.....
