2002 Ford Explorer 4.0 limited has a problem starting.

We are not getting power to the fuel reset button.My husband just changed the fuel pump, and the truck still wont start.
When they spray a little gas into the carbarator it starts. Can anyone tell me what could the problem.

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 2002-2005 section. Check the fuses, fuel pump relay, and the PCM relay.
