Good day to all members of the forum. My name is mike and I am new to the site/forum. I am quite elated to be a member of this forum and vow to be as good member 
I am currently trying to diagnose a problem with my 2002 explarer 4x4 4.0.
I originally had a slipping tranny and decided to replace it with a used one that i paid $750 for. I installed it and wit worked relatively fine although it was taking more tranny fluid thatn normal to engage. I drove it last saturday Dec 13th just fine but when i went to use it this sunday Dec 14th it hardy wanted to move in D and Reverse but will work fine in 1st 2nd and 3rd.
I dropped the tranny pan and saw that the top of the filter had a 6 inch crack so i thought id be lucky by just replacing the filter. It did not solve the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction if your can? Thank you.
