So I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4.6 with 123,000 miles on it (had it since 2008) lately the ABS light is on sometimes it’s off and the brakes pulsate sometimes. I’ve been ignoring it for a while but I’m going through winter preparations right now and I need to get it fixed and throw new rotors and pads on there. From all of your experience does anyone think it could be just dirty? I’ve replaced the wheel hub bearings all around TWICE in the last 6 years. I really hope I don’t have to replace the entire bearing again, it’s not squealing which is a sound I’m very familiar with considering how many times I’ve changed them (should have used MOOG from the first time) I’m hoping I can just clean it when I do the brakes, I believe I had it scanned several months ago and it was the front right wheel speed sensor. Long time member here but mostly a lurker haven’t posted since 2009 LOL.
