2002 Sport Trac Automatic to Manual Swap

Hello all! Me and my bro in law got a new project for his 2002 Sport trac. what year M5OD trannys will work? Also what will I have to do about the ECM? Currently looking for a donor truck and having trouble finding a 4.0 SOHC manual for a $1000 or under. My main questions are:
What year trannys will bolt up?
Do I have to replace the ECM and use that wiring harness from the donor?
What will I do about the 5R55E Cooling lines?

You would need to find a newer ranger say 01-up with the 4.0 sohc that had the manual transmission, you could get most everything from that. As far as PCM you could have yours reprogrammed to work with the manual I'm pretty sure. You could remove the cooling lines afterwards.

There are a few ranger guys who have the 4.0 sohc who have swapped from auto to manual, I remember a particular thread on 1 of the ranger sites, it shared a lot of details about the swap.
