2002 sport trac engine / trans removal

Hello fellow owners . I have a question . Has anyone ever removed engine , trans, and transfer case all in one unit and installed it again as one ? I have a 4litre sport trac 2002 year and want to go from a tired 303,000 KM engine and trans to a 188,000 KM engine , trans , transfer case . Doable ? or do they need split ?

If you remove the grille, radiator and core support you might be able to get the engine and trans out in one piece, but I don't see the transfer case coming with it.

Thanks , I realized that Sunday afternoon and I am in the process of removing it from the transmission now . AW1950
