2002 sport trac

Hi everyone. Had to replace front brake hoses on 02 sport trac. Now the front brakes seem to be "on" when going forward. The truck goes in reverse with no issues but not forward. Am I loosing it or what. Why would the brakes drag?
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you bleed all of the air out of tue system after you put them in? Brake lines with air in them do funny things.

Why did you replace the hoses are you sure the calipers are releasing?

had to replace a hose that ruptured so decided to replace both. Thats what it feels like " the calipers aren't releasing. The calipers, hubs, rotors are all new 2000m ago. What I can't figure out is why they don't "grab" in reverse, just forward. When the hose blew, lost all brake fluid. Is it possible that the problem is in the abs unit (air?)
