I figured this is the best spot to ask this. I bought my Sport Trac from a local dealer. I've had the timing chain, ball joint, and tire bearings replaced. About 16K ago I had new brakes and rotors put on. They just replaced the bearings and told me my brakes are getting low. I get more life out of a set of pads than anyone I know. I got 60K out of a set of pads on my Tribeca. I was having problems with the brakes also. When I would turn to the left and brake it almost seemed as if the ABS kicked in, regardless of speed or conditions. They told me it was left front ABS sensor. Would this have anything to do with excessive brake wear? It also seem as if the outer edge of the rotor is wearing much faster than the inner almost as if the pads were uneven. This site has been a huge help in the past. Thanks.
