I have't seen this asked yet...or maybe I searched the worng thing.

Will the wheels from a 2002 Ex fit on a 96? If not, what is the problem or difference?

Thanks

yes, they will fit. same bolt pattern, and ive seen someone here (cant remember who) who has stock 02 or 03 17's on a 95-01 X.

are you sure?

Someone once said something about the spacing being wrong and the newer rims won't fit the older trucks.....i know the bolt patterns are the same......

I am getting ready to buy some and I want to make sure there are no problems.

Thanks!

im almost positive i saw it (cant remember where). i dont see why the backspacing would be that far off, since everyone runs the same aftermarket wheels on the 3rd gens as most run on 2nd gens...

in other words, if a Cobra R sits perfect under a 2nd gen, and sits perfect under a 3rd gen, then the backspacing on the factory wheels has to be very close or an aftermarket wheel would either stick out or tuck under too far. did any of that make sense?:p

I had the 16s from our '02 on my '95 and the tire rubbed on the sway bar. They fit, but rubbed. And it looked akward.

hmmmm......... well it is highly possible that i am wrong then.

They have a lot more back spacing, and if I'm understanding offset right, a high number on that too.
