2002 XLS with XLT goodies?

Has anyone taken a 2002 xls and upgraded the to xlt goodies. I want to install a overhead console with compass , temp and all the other features. I would also like to install lighted visor mirrors and auto climate if its possible. I would buy what i needed from a junk yard. Any help would be great. I don't know where to start. Will I have to change my computer or other modules?

Overhead console only comprises of a light and a couple cubby holes in the '02s. Unless you have a sunroof(XLS's don't), then it would house the button for that.

The compass and temp readout is in the gauge cluster, not sure what it takes to install that.

Auto climate would be a nightmare. Its not just simply plugging in the control panel for it. There are numerous sensors and components to it.

Upgrading the exterior would be much easier. Swapping wheels and front/rear bumpers would be rather simple.

If you want the convience of an XLT, it going to be much easier to buy one unfortunetly.

ok thanks, what about adding the puddle lights, the middle console ac, and day time running lights?
