Folks,

I have a 2003 2 x 4 Explorer with cruise control issues...

The problem is a non-functioning Cruise control. Switches seem to work, the Instrument panel light comes on, but the speed control does not function. The cable connection to the throttle body seems to be OK. Truck is a 2 x 4 V8. 45k miles.

Will this system be monitored by the OBD system? If yes, what are the codes?

TIA,

Rog

Check those out, those are good links.

Try not to fracture answers by posting the same question in multiple forums though, keeps everything together in one place, and saves space. Whoa- I rhymed... :D

Having similar problem. I have a 2-year-old brake pedal switch, new steering wheel buttons/harness (needed that anyway for the radio), recall just performed, & have replaced the servo with a used one and I still have the same problem. Let me know if u have figured anything out and I'll try to do the same if I figure it out.
