Hi Everyone,
I have a 2003 explorer XLT that I just recently bought. It's still under warranty and I'm about to take it in to have it looked at, but I have a couple of questions before I do that.
First off, at low speeds (15-25mph) it sometimes feels like the car is going back and forth. Almost like I'm releasing the gas pedal, and then stepping on it, releasing, etc. This doesn't always happen, but has anyone heard of a problem like this and what it may be? If I completely let off the gas, wait a second, and then continue accelerating the problem seems to go away.
Second, at higher speeds (45-55mph) the car feels like it's going over a small bump with every rotation of the tires. The kind of feeling you get when you roll over a 1/4" hose or something. Again, this doesn't happen all the time but I believe I felt this on a brand new road that was really smooth. Does this sound like a common problem at all?
Thanks for any advice!
