Hello all. Not new to forums but new to this one. I have searched but found so many replies it was hard to find much help. 03 explorer 6cyl auto. My wife called the other day said her od light was flashing. I told her to go to autozone and check the codes. called back and said it was shifting late and when it did it shifted hard. I thought tps because i once had a truck that did the same. ended up being pressere control solenoid. Took it to a shop and theysaid it was also throwing a code for gear 5. Her brother(dumb ass) worked there and another guy that worked for the ford dealer for 15 yrs. Said flushing and a filter should do it. It might take a few hundred miles but give it time. Anybody have this prob and any solutions. esp. something that wont cost a couple grand. any info is greatly appreciated
