I have a 04 explorer XLT had transmission rebuilt after a week i changed battery and alternator how ever one day i drove about a quarter mile away from my house and drive and reverse stopped working i drove back home using 1, 2 , and 3 left it alone for a week battery went dead i jumped it and to my surprise everything worked like nothing was wrong 2 days later it happened again i left it alone for a few days and again everything worked fine now 4 days later it happened again anyone have any idea what it could be transmission shop wants to rebuild it again at my expense when it was just rebuilt 9 months ago any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
