2003 Mercury Mountaineer

Hi all. I'm new here. Got a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer Eddie Bauer edition. Drivers side power seat fwd/back motor runs but seat won't move

The seats really aren't all that complicated. There are a couple of electrical connectors to uncouple and a couple bolts to remove. The seats come right out, then you can flip them over to troubleshoot.

My 05 explorer's driver seat had a bad lumbar adjustment doohickey. You can get the part, but I just tied it back together with some heavy zip ties and called it a day. Worked just fine. Replaced the seat foam while I was at it.

Worst come to worst try a junkyard for the seat frame - you can swap the upholstery no problem.
