I have a 03 sport trac I pulled the motor. After putting 65k miles on a new timing set!
Now I’m determined to put a 1995 thunderbird 4.6l v8 in this tiny space I need to know what motor mounts and what brake booster I need so I can free up approximately 2.75 inches

Hmmmm well this is a major drivetrain conversion

I have used mustang ii 8” brake booster in the past on there it fits great and is available is dual diaphram gives good performance. Many 4.6 vehicles were hydroboost so you could also look at installing that system instead of the vacuum booster

The 4.6 has been done onto these rigs (98-11 ranger, 96-01 sploder, 02-05 trac and sport. You will have to hack out a lot of your heater box if I recall.
Motor mounts are going to be custom
5.0 pushrod conversion much easier

95 engine into a 02 is not going to be emissions legal just fyi

I would opt for an LS swap. It is a much more compact engine to fit in the engine bay. Also, aftermarket support for these swaps is huge. Plus, you would have a ripper when you are done.

I won't try to talk you out of it. PI heads and an aluminum block, 6R80 transmission would make a cool rig.

I would go the 5.0 swap route.

One other thing I will add is that the OP should check the emissions laws in his area. A lot of places won't allow a swap of this kind because it is a completely different engine that wasn't offered by the manufacturer for this model. Washington State might be more strict due to their leanings toward environmental laws.
