i have a 2004 explorer xlt 4x4, i have recharged the ac a few times and still nothing, i took it to a garage and they told me the heater core was leaking, that was 3 years ago, and i have never seen and kind of antifreeze in my passenger floor or been low on anti-freeze, does anyone know what else it could be?

and also my fan, the big fan under the good, its runs ALL the time, never kicks off, i dont think its suppose to do that either but could be wrong, anyone know?????????

the fan should be spinning all the time, there is a temp sensitive clutch that engages when hot and forces more air but when dis-engaged the fan will still spin but more like free wheeling.

Do the boxes get cold? A/C plumbing? etc. ..might be a damper if its topped off.

...i have recharged the ac a few times and still nothing...

Please be more specific. What are the pressures on the system when you charge it? Is the compressor running?

not really sure wich boxes ur talkin about jrford.....but here is another question, when i get in my explorer an turn the key to start and turn the ac on and the fan on, i can hear the blower motor running, but nothin at all is comin threw the vents? i know that;s not right, any solutions? only air that has been comin threw my vents is what the fan under the hood has been blowin
