Was driving in town, got on it hard to get into another lane and it started chugging like it was out of gas (witch it almost was). got some gas and barely started. drove it home, chugging and dying at every stop. Got home ran codes and got,
0106
0303
2104
2111
0104
0121
0221
Motor is 4.0 with 110k
What I replaced with new parts after this happend,
new fuel filter, coil, plugs, wires, intake gaskets (#3cyl had torn gasket).
Now i cant get it to run 10 seconds. cleared all codes and now get
0401
1000
I replaced the EGR. nothings changed. VARY FRUSTRATED!!!! PLEASE HELP!

Check your vacuum lines for rips or tears. A hidden vacuum hole could be the culprit, as you said it was chugging during slowdown and shutting down at idle. Also, check the EGR tube for clogs.

All the lines seem good. I did a compression test on it and i have no compression on cyls. 3,5,6. Sooo Im thinking its toast. Getting everything ready to start pulling it out. If the timing chains break, do the valves hit the pistons on this motor? Ive never been inside anything other then a pushrod v8. Thanks for any info.

I got the motor torn down enough to see that the guide for the right cam is gone, also broke a rocker off. Hopefully I can get a set of reman heads and change them out and it'll all be good.
