While pulling the center bolt in order to remove the crankshaft pulley, I made two mistakes that I hope are not going to cost me.
1. Did not have the truck in Neutral originally.
2. Allowed the crank to turn a couple of times (maybe 5 or 6) before being able to secure it with a chain wrench.
Now when I have the truck running, I am hearing a knock in engine. Could this be a result of one of my two mistakes?
