Folks, i have a 2004 Explorer that just turned 98,000 miles and within the last several months in the mornings when i first crank it its as though it has a "ticking" sounds coming from it and it sounds like its from the front of the engine, once the automatic chokes goes off its not as bad, any ideas what this may be?
Thank you all

Yes , The problem is with the automatic choke, remove it because these cars were not designed with one. Then simply grab a beer to enjoy the pizza.

:)

Might be timing chain rattle. Do a search, there are several threads about it.

Good luck. :biggthump
