I got the Oxford White 2004 Explorer XLT with the Dark Metalic Grey two tone. However I can not seem to find the paint code for the two tone part as I need to cover up a scratch I got on the rear bumper in Ghost Towning out in NV a few weeks back before I turn my lease in, in Dec.
On the Label in the door jam all it says is (YZ) for the Oxford white. There is no other number listed next to it. Under the pinstrip paint code there is nothing listed there even though I have a pinstrip.
I'm starting to think my vehicle was not suppose to even have the two tone or pinstrip *shrug*. Makes me wonder if the bashed in step bar can be removed and if Ford would even notice that.
I got the extra "Wear Care" but that is going towards the windshield, front bumper (got bashed in going to Barker Ranch in Death Valley) and probably cover the side steps (I know it will cover that because I asked a dealer)...I just did not want them to tack on the rear bumper for a new paint job and say I owe some money because it is over the $2,500. One reason I am not leasing again, too much worry and hassle...if I get charged anything I plan to buy the vehicle.
