Greetings All,
My 2004 Ford Explorer’s cabin air seems restricted. The AC blower is working hard and sound ok, but very little air comes out of the vent. Does this model have a “cabin air filter” that could be clogged or is there something else that may be the problem? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

AC recirculation door breaks off and falls on top of blower motor and causes lack of airflow.

I had the same problem with my 2004 Explorer. I was able to repair the door assy. I did buy the part from Ford. I went return it and they wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee. The part number is 1L2Z-18B259-AC. PM me if you are interested. I paid $68.64 for the part with tax. That is all that I am asking. Let me know. I would be nice to help someone out.

Dave
