2004 Ford Ranger
I have a 2004 Ford Ranger Regular Cab, 2.3l, 5 spd. 110,900 miles It has a couple of issue before I lowered it.

1. Vibration from the drivetrain when at mid speed, not when slow and not when fast say around 40 MPH. Somebody told me it must be the cross joints on the driveshaft. Could this be the case?

2. It is very slow no power (can't go to 5th gear at 50 mph) I had replaced the fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel pump because somebody dumped sugar into the gas tank. Do you think I need to replace injectors?

Now I flipped the rear axle and it is low It must have dropped at least 4". I cut the front spring and it is now sitting on the bump stops and alignment is out of wack. I want to lower the front about 5" the right way is there a place where I can buy the parts that I would need to lower it (front)? What parts do I need?

Also after lowering it my ABS light is on? Do I just reset this? How? Did I miss anyhing from flipping the back or cutting the front springs that would trigger this? Any information would help

Thanks,

Jay, Guam USA

I got the ABS squared away, just replaced the sensor.
