2004 Merc Mountaineer Transmission problem

I have a 2004 Merc Mountaineer with 130000 miles. The od light starts flasing and check transmission light comes on. Had it checked local shop, it had to much fluid in it. Did fine for a few day light come on again, this time it dies at stop light. put in park starts fine then d and goes again and shifts through all gears no problems or slipping. Stop at light again does same thing. Acts light the touque coverter no unlocking. Call another shop thought if might be torque converter cluth. Any ideas or suggestion would be helpful.

If u didnt add any fluid seems weird its over full

Sounds low on fluid.

I did have it serviced at 100000 miles was only time could have added fuild, does not have a dip stick.
