2005 Explorer with a cracked panel below the rear window.

I have a 2005 explorer and I am wondering if anyone else that has this year model has had the panel below the rear window crack though the middle? Since mine cracked, I have noticed many in my area that have the same problem, however, I have not noticed it on models that are a few years older but the same body style. Does anyone know if Ford has addressed this isssue, or is there anyone that has taken the problem to Ford?

Wow, Thanks I wonder if Ford is actually doing anything about it?
I guess I will call the number tomorrow and find out.

only in basic warranty they are. i think esp also covers it if you purchased it.
