So I'm trying to change the rear brakes on my sisters '05 Focus. They're disc brakes! It comes time to push back the pistons, I open the bleeder valve, slap a 6" C-clamp on there twist with all of my might and I can't get them to push back. I've never had half the trouble pushing back the pistons on my Explorers. Are they frozen and need to be replaced?
Another thing is the rear pads are shot and the fronts are only half worn which should be the other way around of course. How do you adjust hydraulic brakes?
