2005 Ford Explorer 4x4 rearend swap

I'm looking for a rear end to replace the factory rear end. I found one out of a 2003 sporttrac. Does anyone know if this will fit in my 2005 Explorer? If not, can someone tell me where I could find a 3.55 rear end?...Thanks

Sport trac rear will not work for you. That being said, its a b!tch to change. Check car-part for local parts. Expect to spend 300-700 for a used one. I had a spare a few months ago that I let go way too cheap because I didnt have the time or a good place to pull it before junking the truck :| Take some tools with you and pull the plug/ check the fluid condition when you find one.
