I have looked and found that the leak is coming from the connection between the block and what the thermostat housing sits on. There appears to also be a sensor connected to this piece. Does anyone know the technical name for that piece? I can take a pic if i need to. I just need to know what gasket to order.

The top item, the thermostat housing is an aftermarket re-engineered piece. Seems like your leak may be an oe defect.
#735-7814 and $61.20 @ NAPA. Probably similar at other Parts stores. The aftermarket versions will address the oe defects.

Its that first pic you have.. Is that really the thermostat housing? The leak is coming from where that piece connects to the engine.. Autozone tells me that there is NO gasket for that but only an O-ring. I believe I see a gasket between that piece and the engine... Do you know?

Invest in a tube of Form-a-Gasket and make your own. Just make sure there's nothing else wrong on the inside of that housing.

Well that is what they tried to sell me.. However, that is not what i see. Napa has the housing in stock so I am going down there to see what it looks like... It is a kit so it should come with all gaskets/o-rings

I had to order one from Napa they are $20 cheaper. They had one in stock but it was missing a cap for the hole next to the sensor... I did forget to order the sensor o-ring though... What sensor is that? Coolant Temp Sensor?
