I've got a leak in the rear windshield washer line and need to remove the 2 utility hooks on either side of the rear headliner to be able to remove the headliner and repair the water line..I already removed the trim panels on all four columns .I think the hooks are spring loaded but I'm not sure how to remove them,I don't want to break them. There is NO screw holding them in place..has anyone faced this problem ?

In the middle of the fastener there is a little cap you remove then insert a slotted screwdriver with a tip that is 3/16 wide. insert all the way and turn it 90 degrees to release the lock. To install just push the fastener back in.

Garment hooks removed

Thanks for the info, using a flat blade screwdriver to remove the garment hooks worked. What a b----!!! I was able to lower the headliner and repair my problem. Thanks again.

What was the problem with the washer line? Was it a joint or a failed hose?

I just had to put my line back together, on the top back side of the right wheel well housing and I did not like the looks of the quality of tubing that took off toward the back. It was not deteriorated, it was just soft and flimsy from the git go. Didn't look like the kind of material I would like to have going behind nearly difficult to remove panels.
