I have an 06 Explorer. All passengers windows inoperable but I can control them at drivers side. Thought it needed a new driver switch but the new switch doesnt help. Any thoughts?

Are you sure that the window lockout switch is not on? What if you bypass the switch, do they work then? You may have to look up the electrical diagram and see where the primary power is coming from that goes to the switch and start there.

The window lockout switch was the first thing that I checked. I was under the impression that the lockout switch was bad which is why I purchased another switch. I am experiencing the same situation with both switches. I may have to pull the door panel this weekend and get a look at what I can find. I am hoping that my problem exists between the switch and the hinge area.

Did you figure it out ?

I had a different problem with my door locks: it kept unlocking the truck for no reason. Most likely it is Smart Junction Box in my case. It controls a lot of staff in the car.

Based on research, there is an issue with wire breakage caused by bending fatigue at the body to door joint. The control wires are very light gauge and can break inside the insulation. On my 2006, from the drivers side I could lower the pax window but not raise it. Find a wiring diagram and pull back the accordian boots. A bear to get at but doable without pulling doors.
