Working on a friends 98 Explorer she was not able to use the power door lock switch to unlock door after driving. Ordered a used switch ass. with lock and window controls. After install no love, main problem now is I've lost power windows on all 4 doors. Checked all fuses no luck. Windows worked before I "fixed it" I tried the old switch no luck with either.
Did find the problem for the door lock switch had 3 broken wires from the door to the cab got those fixed and have the door locks working again but now have no power windows.
Any ideas or thoughts would be great. In 4 hours on the help a friend scale
