Hello All,
I think this my transmission , anyway back in the fall I kept hearing a grinding sound thinking it was a wheel bearing going out, replaced a few since we have Explorers in the family. We replace the bearing, and that wasn't the problem.
winter season was here it started to get louder on the way to work , then wrench icon lite finaly came on engine code was P0733. Lol didnt have the cash at time, taking care of my mom bills since she had hip surgery in the year help her on some bills . father let me drive his truck till snow melted away .. * still no cash * Yes Tax money finaly came, bought a Solinoid Pack A , now last nite got the time and use of a friends garage drained it, took pan off and seen this :
pieces on the bottom of the drain pain, btw on the way down to the shop , now the actual engine icon popped on ! , check the new code P0745 , well we drained it , like i said found those... now I have to call a local transmission shop to have it rebuild.. dad said looks like a broken band . but he couldnt turn it inside the tranny. .. and it was a " Blank " getting it out ! fought it to get it...
