2006 Ford Explorer XLT V8, cooling fan runs continually. Radiator has been changed. Water pump has been changed. It is not losing any coolant. The fan sometimes is on as soon as the vehicle is started. Any ideas? Thanks!

I thought about that. So I have made a point not to, and it still does it randomly. It's very confusing when it comes on when I start the engine, knowing its not hot yet.

I heard about a sensor that could be sending a false reading, causing it to come on when not necessary, just not enough info yet on that.

My 2006 V6 will start off with the fan engage tight for the first 30 seconds or so even on a coldstart, but then it will settle down as long as the air-conditioning is not on
