2007 explorer 4dr wiper problem

My mom has a 2007 explorer non sport trac. Has 25ka miles and has a check engine for a o2 sensor. Which i am going to replace but also has a front wiper problem where it only turns on in the fast position and when it gets turned off the wipers wont back all the way down. Replaced the switch already but did the same thing. Sorry but i couldnt find a thread. For this problem.

you are looking at either a short in one of the cables or most likely appears to be like the engine is giving out or most costly your switch is going out take a multi meter and check your lines and your motor to make sure you have a continual and the appropriate volts going to it. if you dont have one wal-mart has them for about $20 worth the money believe in me.. gud luck
