Wiper motor will work but needs help. I removed the whole unit from the rear window. On my bench I removed the 8 or so starbit screws, removed the cover & exposed the gears. I removed 2 more starbit screws holding the motor casing on to expose the magnets of the motor itself. At this point I could unscrew the motor & drive from the gearing, completely removing it from the situation, however I could not move the gears with my fingers. I live in Upstate NY with snow & salt and who knows what else that I believe is jammed in the shaft on the outside of the casing but I can not get the shaft out.

My 1st question is which way would the shaft come out...toward the gearing or away from the gearing. I believe it's away and I would have to remove the gear from the shaft 1st. I tried with screwdrivers with no luck, I do not have a puller that small but might look into one if I need it. I did pull the rubber o ring from the outside of the housing (opposite side from gearing) but I could not see what was going on past it. A schematic of the thing would be fantastic but fordparts.com only shows the motor fully assembled.

I'm guessing it wasn't meant to be taken apart but I really feel a decent cleaning will fix the whole thing. I used a ton of wd40 on it with minor success. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and I'll post my success/failures as they come! Thanks!
