I have a 2007 ST Limited 4WD, and it is getting to the point where I need to start thinking about replacing the brakes. Any suggestions on the best pads (front and rear) to buy? Thanks in advance.
I have always had good luck with NAPA Ceramix pads. Put them on several of our vehicles. Good pedal feel, little dust, and don't cost an arm and a leg.

The anti-lock braking system on '07-'10 Sport Tracs is used by the traction control, roll and yaw stability control systems. The Sport Trac is by default RWD, so it is no surprise that the smaller but more often used rear brakes would go first.
I recommend EBC brakes. EBC also makes high performance rotors too. You should always have your rotors resurfaced when you replace the pads. If there's not enough metal left to turn the rotors, buying new EBC rotors is a good idea, and doesn't cost much more than junkyard rotors + the cost of resurfacing them.
