2008 Explorer 4.0 V6 KKM Intake

Okay I ordered the cai from kkm for my 08 explorer 4.0 v6 will I have any problems with the cel light or what. And I don't have to get my ecu reprogrammed do I. And also has anybody used this kit before what your reviews.

look you don't have to but i recommend it, disconnect the positive battery cable while you install the kit, by the time your done working and reconnect the battery the ECU will reset and allow itself to compinsate for the higher air fuel mixture, depending on your filter choice make sure you don't over oil it or you will wreck your MAF sensor.

nice video can you upload a 0-60 vid or do you know your 0-60 time is that a 4x4 or 4x2

Yea I'm going to do another one durning a dry day maybe this weekend, um with stock tires and rims I estimate 7.5 to 7.8, but thats just an estimate.
I think the best part about the intake is that when normal driving you can't really hear it but you know it's there but when you lay into it the beast is let loose.

oo and it's 4x2 with 3.73 gears

So i i order one of these intakes there should not be a ligh on the dash that goes on for some reason? what is the (!) light on your dash lighting up. Is that due to the intake? and how is the throttle response.

no there should not be a cel light i didnt have one and the ! light you see is for low tire pressure and the throttle response is much improved.

Throttle responce is improved greatly, 0-60 times get quicker and the sounds that it produces are the kicker, the only improvment that needs to be done is a heat sheild and to cut out that dumb fresh air "luvered" looking thing in the grill. Becuase the more unrestricted air that gets to the pipe the BETTER.
