In the past 2 days both sunvisor mirror covers on my Eddie Bauer have snapped off. I do have a call in to my service guy to find out if this is covered by any recall, tsb, or whatever.. doing a search on that subject sure showed this has been an issue for a long time! (I have owned a 94, 99, 2003 and never had this issue before.)
Problem is, of course they are lighted mirrors and the plunger for the light is out without the cover there to keep it down and the light off.
Not really ready to shell out $$$$$ to replace entire visor.... anyone have a way to simply disconnect the light from the power source?
You should see what I had to do to the thing to keep the light off. What a pain in the butt!!
Help.
