How much low end torque did you lose? I know 3" exhaust is usually for cars making 500+rwhp. I know for my 08 merc I had the resonator cut out and the flowmaster 50 series welded in. Did this to my 05 Expedition with a 5.4 and it sounded stock under normal and had a little rumble at wot. With the merc...totally different and not sure why but it sounds super mean and louder than the expedition. It sounds great but for my suv, I want it to rumble a little at wot only. So i'll have to add a resonator back in to quiet it down.

I got mine installed and was a little disappointed that I had to cut some of the front tube inorder to get the rear axle clearance. When it's supposed to be a bolt on kit I kinda expect that.
Overall I like it. as the muffler breaks in it's getting a bit quieter. The wife doesn't like the sound but then it's not her vehicle. With a V8 under the hood you expect it to sound like it is.
Can't say the $900 pricetag was really worth it for some mandrel pipe and a glasspack muffler.
