Hi Guys, when i first got the car, the fuel gauge would drop from full directly to empty after a few miles. Although the needle would bounce about under 'enthusiastic' cornering.
I put some fuel system cleaner through it and since then I get a reading down to maybe 3/4 then it drops to zero, more recently, its been showing half sometimes but with no correlation to the actual tank contents and sometimes drops to zero. All a bit odd......
I sometimes get one or more of the following codes with a CEL-
P1450 -Unable to Bleed up fuel tank vacuum
P0461- Fuel level sensor A circuit range/performance
P0442- EVAP system leak detected (small leak)
P0452- EVAP System pressure sensor/switch A circuit low
Gauge sweep is fine, so I'm guessing a fault with the pump/sender, or the wiring.
Perhaps a vent/vacuum issue?
Any ideas?
