Did Ford solve the problem of breaking spark plugs in the later 4th gen 4.6l engine?

Or was a different spark plug specified to greatly reduce chance of breakage(different than plugs installed at factory)?

Yes the plug problem is solved for late build 08 up.

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell us how they resolved the problem? Oh, and what is a "resident" for tech?
