How do you remove it? I need to install my Sirius FM adapter and it needs to plug into the back of the radio.

I have removed the radio in mine 10 times in the last month.
1. Open up your arm rest and unscrew the two bolts
2. Pry up by the two screws and the center panel around the shifter should lift off
3. Pry up the chrome around the shifter.
4. Put the car in 1st gear and push the center panel to the side.
5. Pry the top of the center console above the radio
6. When you pry it up, reach behind and remove the seat belt light. It has a part you squeeze that allows you to remove it.
7. Pry up the bottom of the center console and push it to the side.
8. Remove the four bolts holding the radio on and slide that puppy out.

I can get mine out in under 5 minutes.

I would of never thought to start at the center console! Thanks for that step by step. Huge help.

So I got the radio all removed, Sirius in the spot I want it, and go to plug in the Sirius FM adapter but Ford apparently changed the antenna cable ends?? I had to put it all back together and not figure out where to get these adapters.

go to a local best buy or you can order them online. they are actually a chrystler adapter.

Metra part number: 40-cr-10 and 40-cr-20 you will need both.
