My wife recently purchased a 2010 Explorer. Where is the factory data sticker or data plate located? On all my other Fords it was located on one of the door jambs but I've checked all the door jambs, doors, lift gate and under the hood. My 2011 has one, and her old 2002 had one, but this one is hidden. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but thought they were in the door jambs somewhere.....drivers? It's a white sticker. Maybe someone removed it.

Thanks for the info, but no such label on this truck. I found out the sticker is called the Safety Compliance Certification Label. By law every vehicle must have one. It appears this truck left the factory without one. No evidence anywhere on the vehicle that the doors or door jambs were repainted, or that the label was removed. Anyone know if FOMOCO can provide one?

The VIN tells you everything you need to know about the vehicle in terms of engine, driveline, color, etc. What do you need to know?

The reason I started looking for this label was to find the paint code. When you take the VIN to the Ford VIN decoder site it gives you everything but the paint code. A friend that runs a local body shop solved the mystery for me.

Thanks again for your help.
